The archeological museum provides an overall view about the early settlers (7 BC) in this alpine region. From the Bronze Age, there is a melting furnace, still fully intact to be seen.

Messner Mountain Museum»

The museum is housed in Juval Castel, which is also Reinhold Messner's private proberty. The collections here focus on the "Myth of the Mountain", and the world's holiest mountains can be admired in one of the galleries. A unique collection of Tibetica, masks and artefacts from live continents bear witness to the religious aspect of the mountains. In addition Messner also runs an organic farm with inn and vineyard here.
Opening hours: to June 30 and from September 1 to Novermber 1 2015
Closed on Wednesdays. Only guided tours.
